Herend Guild Introduces 2008 Bonus Figurine,

“Bunny and Fawn”

 

STERLING, VA, April 9, 2008…The Herend Guild will present the limited edition Guild Bonus Figurine for 2008, “Bunny and Fawn,” at the New York Tabletop Market, April 9-13.

 

“This lifelike composition of a bunny and fawn reaching out to each other in a friendly but tenuous attempt to get acquainted is meticulously hand painted by an artist who also signs the piece,” remarked Marti Badila, Guild director.  “Due to their limited edition, members should act quickly before the edition is sold out.”

 

The posture of the “Bunny and Fawn” (7 ˝-inches long, 3 ˝-inches high) is so realistic that the two appear to tremble in excitement, and at any moment are expected to bump noses and startle each other.  This newest bonus figurine is available in the Guild’s exclusive gold fishnet pattern as well as an all natural version.  Additionally, three other versions offer a combination of colors; for example, a chocolate brown Bunny with rust Fawn, blue Bunny with green Fawn, and a raspberry Bunny with blue Fawn.  The piece is limited to an edition of 250 in each version.  Guild members may purchase “Bunny and Fawn” for a suggested retail price of $1,195. 

 

A Guild membership for 2008 is $450 and includes the “Meadow Mouse” annual member piece, as well as a roster of other benefits.  Annual membership is also available without purchase of the figurine for $65.
