Herend Guild Unveils Second Figure in “Meadow Creatures” Collection

STERLING, VA, January 8, 2008…The Herend Guild will unveil “Meadow Mouse,” the second figurine in its three-year “Meadow Creatures” figurine series at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, January 8-16. This captivating figure can be seen at the Herend showroom in Suite 907 of the Atlanta Gift Mart along with information on exclusive events and services available to members in 2008.

“In addition to the introduction of this exclusive Guild figurine, January kicks off our tenth anniversary year. “Meadow Mouse” (2 ¼-inches high) munches contentedly on a plump berry that has obviously just been picked since the leaf is still attached. He is available in the Guild’s exclusive color, 24-karat gold, and a natural bisque coloration. Additionally, a limited number of figurines are available in six Herend fishnet pattern colors, including black, blue, chocolate, green, raspberry and rust. His rounded body is hand painted in the fishnet decoration, a design that is meticulously applied by a Herend artist in a free form style. Twenty-four karat gold accentuates the tip of his nose and paws. The Herend Guild hallmark and identification number of the artist who painted each figurine are placed on the bottom to authenticate it is an original piece of Herend.

This delightful creature is available for $450 which also includes the benefits of a 2008 membership in the Herend Guild. Members may purchase more than one figurine per membership. Annual membership is also available without purchase of the figurine for $65.
